Ummah Notes:the Ebook

As I reflect back over 2015, it's been a year of unexpected blessings, alhamdullilah. I entered the year with the intentions to try and grow the Sketchy Ummah blog and it was high atop both my to-do and du'a lists. In the months since, I've thrown my self head-first into homeschooling (for a  stint);relocated with my family; and most recently started working from home full-time all with a toddler underfoot. Alhamdullilah, amidst all the hubbub, I was able to at least consistently with work with my tajweed teacher, and found a sister's Qu'ran class shortly after I moved. Unfortunately, I've totally dropped the ball on blogging, publishing and taking notes.

As I look forward to 2016, I'd like for Sketchy Ummah to make it back on my to-do list, bi idhnillah. One step toward that goal is to publish all of the notes I'd taken before everything came to a halt. The first step in that process is to FINALLY publish my first ebook which as been in the works for a long time.

The e-book is a new format I'm testing out and I'd really love to hear your feedback on it. The e-book is meant to provide an interactive note taking experience. It consists of notes taken from a three-part course by Shaykh Omar Sulieman on maintaining the EmanRush we so often get around holidays, conferences, lectures, etc. The class is available to stream when you sign up for a FREE ILMFLIX account.  I encourage you to print out some pages and add your own notes and reflections to the ones provided in the book.

Download the e-book for free here.
